What these results mean When a child enters the Junior school in Year 3, we expect the typical child to be round about Level 2. When they leave at the end of Year 6, we expect the typical child to have reached Level 4. Not all children progress at the same rate. Some children may still be on Level 1 or have reached Level 3. Some Year 6 children may still be on Level 2 or 3, whilst some may have attained Level 5. In Year 6, children may be set specific tasks for homework, to prepare them for their SATs. These may include Maths, English and Science tasks. |
